Adelphia does seem do things half-arsed sometimes. My experience with them has been alright. I receievd a CD with my install kit but it just so happens it doesnt work with XP, so I had to manually set up the computer. Was fairly easy. Just set up properties to obtain IP automatically. If you are running another version of windows (Below XP) let me know.. I'll send you the cd I cant use

| Re: No catchy title aval :) The blue install CD that is incompatible with Win XP does not contain any USB modem drivers, it's basically just a script that sets up TCP/IP and your email client. It's quicker to do that manually. The red CD on the other hand is Win XP compatible and does contain the USB modem drivers | |

The CD is not needed in most all cases, you just need to select DHCP in your TCP/IP settings and plug your modem. | |

although if yoour going threw usb u should have gotten a cd with drivers. | |

| Update on review I don't know why the "thumbs down" is still showing on my review where it is, because I marked that part as remarkably better than my prior experience with this company.
The guy who installed the set-up didn't really know what he was doing, and was stupified when the CD didn't work. Online or on the phone techs said to use that CD as a drink coaster, so now you know what their techs think of their CDs.
All-in-all, I am happy with the service at this time.
