| Re: Did You Ask SNET? Yes I checked SNET but I was too far from the CO for them. The reason CT Tel was able to provide service is they have their own equipment which is separate from SNET.
And yes, it is more expensive then SNET's residential DSL but then again it is a business class service and includes some features (24/7 monitoring, hardware firewall, etc.) that you dont get with SNET residential service. [text was edited by author 2002-02-15 12:44:51] | |

My guess is you live on the north end of Westlake (Trolley Crossing or there about, which is around 1 1/4 miles or 7000ft from the CO). I live on the other end and all line tests put me over 14,000 feet which is the limit for SNET DSL. | |
