Cablevision blocks ports

Cablevision, while I used to tour their service as being a great alternative to DSL, has now started block ALL ports inbound. Forget your personal web server, forget about you mail server...all ports blocked. It is really great since they limit attachments to the optonline mail servers at 5mb...how do you get a bigger attachment without your own mail server...you don't.

Blocked Ports

Not true. CV only blocks a few ports - including ports 80 and 25. Still thousands of ports available to run your personal web of ftp server.

can't get to my job's email via exchange server...

I connect to an microsoft exchange server and i also have cablevision. I use to be able to conncet to my exchange server mail via outlook but as of today I can no longer. Do you know if cablevision did something and if so is there an go around , I heard something about them blocking port 135

Just start for me also. I think they have started blocking 135,137,138,139. My firewall is seeing fewer scans on these ports as well.
