The change has nothing at all to do with either Roadrunner or AOL. Cox is moving all the users of cable modems over to their proprietary Cox.net network. Read your bleepin' email for a change!

| good choice cox has served nothing but trouble in our area. speakeasy.net dsl is pretty good, especially for gamers, verizon is ok, as long as you dont use their winpoet software.

| I visited your site, and found that your speeds were consistent with what I was getting...
I'm sure many of you noticed that article here a few months ago about the awful speed/packet loss of COX in this area...
Bottom Line = COX SUCKS, DIE, COX, DIE!!!!!!! -- Remote censorship? No more open-source software? The end of the MP3? Read on about the evils of Palladium and TCPA.

| In my experience with ATT DSL... ...billing that cost of phone and DSL with plus taxes that more expensive than cox cable internet and with I don't have to pay any taxes on cox cable internet, Simply I pay just price for cox data and nothing to pay on taxes additional. -- 64K TCP WIN is officially dead for long high latency fat network connection across internet. | |

1 edit | Re: My Apologies Hello. I have come across some posts that people have complained about their SB5120 Cable Modems have been acting up and the receive and send light are blinking together. I am having the exact same problem and I've read you might be able to solve the problem. My HFC MAC is (removed- for safety reasons. tmpchaos ). I hope you can solve my problem, I haven't been able to use my cable modem for two days now. The lights all light up normal till it gets to the online light then it goes to where the power light is solid and the receive and send lights are flashing at the same time. Do you know how to fix this at all? Thanks so much
