I've read the Service agreement at »home.bellsouth.net and it doesn't mention anything about allowing servers or not.
I searched here and didn't find anything (maybe i didn't use the right words)
I checked the FAQ and it says business users can have servers but residential can't.
Any official webpage or statement for Bellsouth? I'm currently with SnappyDSL and they have no problem with it.
Will Bellsouth have a problem? All I have is websites, nothing else. |

I can see where you come from wanting to host a small website, but hosting is so cheap nowadays, you can easily get plans below $5/mo with abundance of storage and bandwidth, and much faster connection.

Based on their AUP, you can't have an email, proxy, mail or FTP server...
However, you are allowed to "host" mutiplayer games... As well, I know people who SSH and RDP into their workstations at home without any problems.
