Last time I installed AIM it didn't give me the option not to install Wild Tangent. The only reason it didn't install was because my software firewall blocked it's attempt to download the WT install files off the internet. Even then I had to modify the startup files to keep it from running the WT install program again.
At least now they give you an option to install them or not so I consider this an improvement.
Still this is why I hate AIM and won't recommend it anymore. Maybe we need AIMLite, just like there was KazaaLite  |
