6Mbps DSL

Everyone's been getting 6.0Mbps DSL too, with an upstream up to 608kbps - that beats any cable offering. Of course, you've got to be within 9500 feet to get it, and at that distance, sometimes it's still not possible.

I want my VDSL. =)

Too bad we can't order it anymore!

Being on the left coast with Dane, Cogeco and OOL aren't within our sphere of cable options. For the most part, there's either 3000/256 (Comcast, Adelphia, Charter) or 3000/384 (TWC).

Well Cogeco is a Canadian company, so you would only be able to get it in Canada.

Calm down there. I never said it was a good package. I was just pointing out that there is another package from Comcast other than the 3000/256. The real cost for 3000/256 is $60.95/Month with the Gateway rental charge added in.

yeah but unlike OOL i bet cogeco doesnt remove 85% of the users upload bandwidth for using a fair amount of upload bandwidth. of course OOL doesnt have any download bytecaps(yet).

No, they sure don't. They just let you know, if you're hogging the network (and they only tell the top 5 users of their network, I think. So unless you're a top 5 user, you should be fine. But then again.. they only warn you.). They don't cut you off, cap your speed, or charge for bandwidth.

DaneJasper your stupid, you'll never see a DSL ISP offering 6mbs line to people who are more then 3000 feet away, you'll lose sync constantly, keep dreaming, Cable is going to smoke DSL everywhich way.
