Thanks!!! I knew you would eventually get to this thread and lend your expertise, as usual!!
I did see that KB article but I just couldn't make it fit this situation. There were too many dis-similar components to the situation described.
In my search for answers I did see where replacing the file and repairing XP did not solve the problem. I am still considering replacing the file but not from the CD as it appears that this file has a later version in SP1. The current file has a creation date of January 21, 2004.
Any other ideas??
