| What forum? The reason why WOW can't overbuild in Macomb Twp, is because they city will not give the right of way to all accessible poles and underground utilities, plus added to the fact that WOW has no immediate plans to expand anyways. It is illegal for a LFA to give exclusive franchise agreements, but there is nothing prohibiting the LFA from denying WOW(or any other cable co.) to tear up streets, and block them off while deploying a HFC network. |

| reply to Jwobot Interesting, since Macomb Twp. set up a meeting with WOW in late December (to be held in January), per »www.detnews.com/2004/macomb/0401···3113.htm
While I am certainly open to more recent news, I would tend more toward no current expansion plans - at least for now. |

| I saw something within the last month, in Macomb Twp's local newspaper, that said the board in Macomb Twp. wanted to start talks with WOW. It even had quotes from Mark Dineen that hinted toward WOW wasn't sure if WOW wanted expand into Macomb Twp.
For those in Macomb Twp., I beleive its an election year for the borad of trustees. Call up the supervisor and other board members.
I think that comcast offers better promotions in areas that they are compeating aginst WOW, etc. The board members certianly don't want angry cable customers (about the lack of cable competition) 8 months from an election. |

| While not specific to Macomb Township, a different article referring to Romeo noted WOW's reluctance toward expanding from its current footprint: »www.romeoobserver.com/story.asp?storyid=1530 |

imrf Premium join:2002-06-06 Utica, MI | What does Romeo expect. Do they think WOW is going to just skip Washington Twp and build up Romeo. They would have to get Washington to let WOW through also. Besides, half of Romeo would not be worth it for WOW to build up. |
