Then after the 6 month promo you will end up paying much more than you did with WOW and still be stuck with poor quality Comcast tv service and their internet service. Call up WOW, I bet they will match that price and probably even upgrade you to ultra. They did for me a while ago. |

1 edit | reply to Phoenix2088 wtg, WOW. It's nice to see someone finally came to their senses there in regards to the pr0n. Now, would it be too much to ask not to force a page size on your ugly portal? Not everyone works at 1024x768. Do that, and I promise I won't complain about that God-awful portal page again. Well, until you do something monumentally stupid akin to like, putting porn links on it... or something.
edit: And one of these days I'll figure out which reply button is which. *g* |

1 edit | reply to Phoenix2088 WOW's Website Re-Design - AGAIN
WOW has taken the the Login for the porn portal off of their website.
I think enough people called in pointing it out that they took it off. Or the web designer was playing a joke and put that porton on and just forgot to take it off before uploading it to the server. |

| reply to Phoenix2088 Just for grins do you want to see what the former Denver WOW segment portal looks like? You can find it here at ChampionBroadBand.
I think the ChampionBroadBand site looks okay, not that I really ever use it. Makes you wonder that when they 'split the sheets' so to speak that Champion got the web designers?

After the 6 month promo they will match WOW when I ask Comcast to switch.. I would rather have digital cable, and better service (WOW only has 2 Michigan techs which go to homes!!). -- BUSH/CHENEY 2004|I AM PRO LIFE! I HATE DSLR's NEW LOOK! [IMG SRC="http: |

Um, how could that possibly be correct? I know for a fact that they have more than 2 techs... |

I'm just saying that when we had to have a tech come to our house, it took them a week to schedule.. the excuse was "we only have 2 Michigan techs" -- BUSH/CHENEY 2004|I AM PRO LIFE! I HATE DSLR's NEW LOOK! [IMG SRC="http: |

Jeremy341 Bye Premium join:2000-01-06 localhost | I've had techs out to my house more than twice, and I've always had different guys. So the person that told you that was either joking, or just stupid. |

| reply to steven s I would rather have satellite tv (which I do)then digital cable. It's waaay better. My one brother has Comcast digital (WOW's not available) and my other brother in Naperville has WOW digital cable and neither comes close to being as good as satellite when it comes to watching tv. Now for broadband of course I have WOW ultra. |

Satellite is too expensive, and I don't like a dish hanging off my house. -- BUSH/CHENEY 2004|I AM PRO LIFE! I HATE DSLR's NEW LOOK! [IMG SRC="http: |

| Satellite cost no more then digital cable (probably even cheaper)and the quality is 2nd to none. My dish is strapped to my chimney and not even noticable. Stick with your crappy cable tv It's your loss. |

Too expensive? $39.99 per month with no tax or franchise fee is not what I'd consider too expensive. |

steven s Premium join:2002-09-14 Dearborn, MI | reply to Phoenix2088 Try getting basic TV (I really don't need any more than I already have) and WOW/Comcast comparable high speed internet for $60 with Dish and DSL/Cable Internet only. |

| You can't compare satellite to basic cable. If all you want is basic, then a cable/internet bundle with WOW would be your best bet. But if you want to go with digital, it's $78 for TV/Advanced Internet with WOW, plus fees and taxes. DirecTV is $40, and Advanced Internet is $45, so it's $85, with no fees or taxes. I believe that to be a better deal. |

Incorrect. I have 10 buddies who work for WOW doing both installs and service calls, all live in MI.
You honestly think that switching to Comcast is going to yield better service. OK. But I would call WOW first and have them price match Comcast's promo. With Comcast after your promo is over, they will not price match competition right away, they have a 6 month wait period before they will price match after a promo.
BTW, WOW digital basic plus Ultra is $87.99 a month, Comcast on their digital promo plus Home Networking(to match downstream) will cost more than that during the promo, then will add another $20 a month after the promo. |

My WOW service looks identical to my two neighbors sat service, one has Dish the other DirecTV. And yes, sat can be more expensive than cable. For me with 5 tv, one being HD it will cost me total between the sat service and the non-tv rate increase for WOW over $30 more a month, for the same services. |
