Not trying to hijack the thread here, but is there anyone but me that thinks that $30 per year lease fee for the cable modem to be WOW's problem seems pretty reasonable? I mean even with cable modems getting pretty cheap it would still take a couple years to break even at that price, and if it dies, WOW will replace it. Seems simple to me, so why would one want to own the CM? |

I agree with that point, but I was simply addressing the buy vs. lease issue. It was free when I signed up too. |

I do too. Its reasonable since most modems are going to cost $60(since WOW does not qualify for many rebates for new customers like the ones for Comcast and TW) plus with that purchased modem, you will receive very little support nor will you get any new firmware upgrades. |
