| Re: Good thing I didn't get Dish yet If I remember correctly this did happen with Comcast a few years back but it was with Disney. Ecostar is doing the right thing. Everytime we complain because cable companies are raising rates its because companies like Viacom try to force cable and satellite companies to carry stations they don't want to carry.
Additionally, everytime some major league athelete or popstar gets some outrageous contract with millions, the owner of that contract passes on the cost to cable and satellite companies who ultimately pass it onto customers.
Ecostar/DirectTV or whoever they are is doing the right thing. |
