| reply to bmr50 go to start>run, type CHARMAP.
the windows character map shows all characters available for a specified font, and will allow you to copy a character if you don't feel like learning the alt+# codes. after a while though, you'll learn them, at least the ones you use most often. characters such as and ©, as well as º have been in my memory for years...
of course this tip is just for windows. -- the USA is a weapon of mass destruction. |

There's no hypen in it. In my original reply I was just indicating that you put them together. A bad idea I guess.
Hold the Alt key and while holding it, just type 155 for ¢. Alt0162 will work as well.

The key codes from it are different from the ones on the row above the alpha keys on the keyboard.
