More like you would to to Microsoft website and get the latest updates that aren't on the CD. The CD isn't the end all for Windows updating. It's just a way for dialup and non-Internet users to get all the current updates without having to download massive megs of data. |

It is also a convenient way to bring a newly installed PC (close to) up to date. You don't want to spend time or your bandwidth for downloading older patches for each one of your PCs right. I ordered one for myself. |
