It's my understanding that the Cisco ubr924 has the ability to provide uncapped service. Now I may have my wires crossed on this. But I know many users have gotten this model to try and use for that purpose.

I had thought I'd read in the past were some providers wouldn't allow this model to be used on there systems.

Iggy, did you cut and paste this or come up with it off the top of your head? If you wrote that freestyle you should be in advertising. Anyway, I picked up a RCA DCM245R from BB 3 yrs ago and haven't had any problems, though I hear the on-off button sometimes has some probs. |

That was the original modem @Home leased me when I signed up in 2000. I agree it was a great modem where I did not experience any problems for two years until I decided to buy my SB4200.

WTF? Is this rag on me week or something? It clearly is a copy and paste if anyone would bother to read the links provided. I was merely giving information in regards to the modem that had been asked about. Sept. 30 needs to be tomorrow I'm so in the mood and in need of a vacation. Hopefully people in Lake Tahoe will have less attack mode in there blood. I get crap because I posted information and links in regards to a piece of hardware that was asked about. I better not sneeze in public this week obviously.
