Every now and then somebody will post a site or a request for a wallpaper site. Then we start listing the sites we know, adding some new ones to our bookmarks, grabbing some interesting ones that we might (or might never) use.
I've just spent the past hour and 1/2 surfing a gigantic site (in Poland I think).
Needless to say, I'm very visual, and there were a ton of visually stunning things there.
So I saved about 40 images and took the time to collect links to some of them with a brief description to give you an idea of what is there, some I've seen on other sites.
Some of the fantasy I recognized like Boris, Yacek, Hildebrandt, and Whelan. A lot was new to me. You'll find landscapes, Sci-Fi, animals, unicorns, 3D; there have to be well over 1000 pictures, maybe 2000. And I probably looked at them all. This is not photography, it is artwork.

Password Protection
I am currently protecting my desktops with a password to discourage people from linking directly to them (obviously some don't consider my threat to be genuine...). The desktops are still all available, just enter the username and password below to access them.
