SBC/Yahoo Page Auto Login, is it possible?

I have recently subscribed to SBC/Yahoo DSL and have a question about logging into "My Front Page" (www.sbc.yahoo.com) and making it my default home page when I double-click IE6.0 to access the internet. I can make it my home page without a problem but I can't seem to figure out a way to do an auto login when it prompts me for username@sbcglobal.net and password. I've tried checking the box to save the password to my computer but it always asks me to log back in. I have a couple of utility programs that clean-up internet clutter (cookies, internet cache, etc.) but I tried to set them up to manage the proper cookies to preserve my login but it didn't work. I then completely disabled them and it still didn't work. Any ideas or help?

Thanks in advance...

Mine is set up and it works fine. It has to be a setting dealing with cookies I would think. Keep looking in that area and also watch here. Someone will come along with that simple answer that we will have not thought of.

I use Yahoo Instant Messenger with mine and it has an option to automatically sign me in. That is using an UN-merged basic Yahoo account though. Maybe have to try it with one of my merged accounts...

It should work fine. I also have the mail (Message Center) set to only ask for the PW once a day. Make sure you do not 'sign out' from either the main page or 'Message Center'. Double check your internet setting in IE. Under 'Privacy' (which I have set to Medium) you could also try overriding the cookie handling, set SBC Yahoo up as allowed.

Sounds like the cookie is getting deleted by the clean-up utilities you have on your PC. Go into your utilities and make sure you allow any cookies that have to do with Yahoo. I use Internet Sweeper and have had same issues until I set to keep the cookie.
