Trying to help my sister with her computer. She can not go to any websites by typing www.websitename.com. She has to type »www.websitename.com. She had a bunch of spyware on her computer. Removed spyware with ad aware 6.0. Set all internet options back to default. She has Netscape 6.2 on her computer and it works fine. Cleared cache and cookies. No luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| Seems like there are still traces of spyware on the system. Make sure you updated your reference files (Spyware Definitions) with Adware 6.0, and run Adware in SafeMode.
To start SafeMode, press the F8 key when first powering up the computer or right when the computer restarts. A screen will ask you how you want to boot Windows. Chose SafeMode, run Ad-Aware and then restart.
To protect from future attacks, run SpywareBlaster, which prevents the installation of these files in the first place.
