Optimum Online. Cable internet service in the Northeast (mostly NY state?) that offers ~10 megabit service for 40ish a month. Some complain that they exercise too many restrictions on what you can do with your connection regarding servers and other things.

You can may be able to buy the 6 mbps plan soon. Afterwards, you can order it and they can cap you at 3mbps if you're too far out.

It's weird how these article's never mention OOL and the speed for the price. Also I wonder how the competitive pricing will be once the other companies catch up to OOL. |

No doubt, OOL has got the speed, but many users have complained of getting capped when actually trying to use their connection.
