| reply to jap Optimum Online. Cable internet service in the Northeast (mostly NY state?) that offers ~10 megabit service for 40ish a month. Some complain that they exercise too many restrictions on what you can do with your connection regarding servers and other things. -- Independent thinkers tend to ALWAYS have someone not agreeing with them. You can may be able to buy the 6 mbps plan soon. Afterwards, you can order it and they can cap you at 3mbps if you're too far out. -- Independent thinkers tend to ALWAYS have someone not agreeing with them. It's the non-thinkers that always come in legions." -John Callari |

| reply to tonekilla said by tonekilla : the cable companies will soon all have speeds like OOL. . I think we have seen a lot of progress in the US Broadband market in the past 6 months. Maybe in 5 years we will have reached the QoS that Japan has now.
It's weird how these article's never mention OOL and the speed for the price. Also I wonder how the competitive pricing will be once the other companies catch up to OOL. |

No doubt, OOL has got the speed, but many users have complained of getting capped when actually trying to use their connection. -- Independent thinkers tend to ALWAYS have someone not agreeing with them. It's the non-thinkers that always come in legions." -John Callari |
