Re: [Vonage] Problem faxing to local numbers

The only thing comes to mind is that locally, they are negotiating too high a baud rate?
said by HP SITE:
ITU-T Group 3 fax with Error Correction Mode
33.6 Kbps fax capability
What is annoying is the lack of lowering fax machine baud rate settings

Yes I can hear a dial tone and the fax "squeal", the fax machine shows"connecting" but will not proceed any further.

I can make/receive phone calls with no problem.

And you hear the fax tone calling the local fax number?

And like above 11 digit dialing always. 14.4kbps max but 9600 is safer.

Cisco 186, I've not sent many, but no problems at 9600. Not sure how "local" would be different?--
