|  Sprint tagged me with a $400 bill on that one. CSR kept telling me that I wouldn't get charged for a data cable. I had to call them 15+ times to get the bill fixed, and now I get daily SMS spam.

Actually, there is a huge market for mobile-mounted (rugged) modems. From public safety vehicles to the incredible variety several municipalities use on the streets. Several CDPD shops are looking for the 5 yr upgrade plan and this looks promising - if anyone can get their modems with GPS built out. |
