| Just got CHSI, my experience.
Hey all. Yesterday (saturday) i went over to the cable place in tacoma to get the self install kit for the Internet. He turned it on and whatever and it was like in and out. Then i got home. V-V. I had hell trying to register my account.I had to reinstall windows on another machine to get it to work. ::Respective isps' software dosn't touch my computer::. But before i thought about reinstalling windows I called up tech support. The wait times are pretty slouchy but its like 10:00 at night so i wouldn't expect different. We talked about it and he suggested the I have some1 come out and look at it but i told him to cancel it.But my Comcast supplied RCA modem seems to like My Netgear Wireless G. I can't post a speed test because i'm unable to install Java but my DU Meter says i top off at about 200 KBs. Thats an upgrade to my last broadband connection ::DSL, 1500/256::. So i mean i guess i have to give them good remarks cause the only problem that I had with the whole installation was that software crap which was my fault.

1 edit | You don't need Java to run the speed tests. In fact, it's not even advised. Check this link out for information on the Optimum Online speed test:
