| Westell WireSpeed 2100 Modem
Just picked up a Westell B90-210015-04 DSL Modem. Does anyone know of a way to change the VPI / VCI settings on this box? All I have been able to find out is that it is a Bridge Modem that was designed to work with Verison.
I am trying to see if I can use it on a Bellsouth DSL Line. As a Bridge Modem, I know I will need a PPPoE client to connect. When hooked up, the power and ready lights are on and steady. The ethernet lights and blinks showing activity.
I just can't get the PPPoE client to find the modem.
Thanks for any help or suggestions. |

| You probably need to use the Westell Diagnostic Icon program to change the VPI/VCI on your modem.
Here are some links that may help:
»Searching for Westell Diagnostic Icon
»djesigns.com/upload/westell_51x_···icon.exe
»Re: Searching for Westell Diagnostic Icon
Westell also has a utility that is only for changing the PVC Settings on their modems:
»www.westell.com/content/download···lity.exe -- Best of luck

Downloaded the diagnostic program, ran it, it found the modem and allowed me to set the VPI to 8 and enable VCI 35
Works like a charm!
Thanks for the help and info. |

Please provide more detail. I have no real idea what you are trying to do? Do you want the bellsouth home page? or do you want to get to the web interface for your modem? -- Best of luck

Stealthport,
What is the model number of your modem? If it is A (or B) 90-210015-04, there is no web interface. If it is A (or B) 90-210030-04, then there is a web interface at »192.168.1.254, or at »launchmodem -- Best of luck

@amigo.net | I read that the web domain is 192.168.1.1 for 90-210015-04. At least it is for me. |
