just to clarify - those are megabytes, not megabits.

NICE!
FIOS [Verizon Fiber] is in trials nearby and should be available by 2006. James, what kind of link does your employer have? I co-locate with a Swedish firm to get 100mbit backbone connected speeds via Bonet.SE. It's costing a small fortune, so I had to go into the deal with a few friends, and can't wait for Verizon Fiber to be available here.

In any case --- NICE! ---

David

Re: Official Speed Tests Thread

maybe I should post some pictures of me downloading some nice illegal adobe software, or some operating systems. you know if you download over $2500 of pirated software its then considered a felony. course, since its a stolen wireless connection-they wont be knocking at my door =P

That freedom? Please tell me what freedom is when your not extending those freedom's to the company which "FREELY" made that software / video / music for sale? Go on and try to explain that one, lets get the flames out of this forum and start another thread if you do want to persue this though; since this is of course for speed tests.

Also please let me in on what freedoms you have up there in Quebec, because freedom of expression sure isn't one

CoxCable4 Sure you can, but make sure to edit your above thread so they don't start sniffing out who's using that wireless connection thats now stolen

Whats that cost a month? Is it something I could afford per say or is it some extremely crazy cost of like 1000 a month plus?

lol you HAVE to be kidding me...

Let the people share their speeds. Mean people stink.

And let me say, anyone who complains about getting only 9mb/1mb OOL speeds should be whipped, IMO.
