I'm still working through issues such as getting a firewall/router that's fast enough to keep up with my connection. It's also hard to find speedtest servers that can stress my connect.

| Re: Official Speed Tests Thread Those tests are not bad. I can hit 95M download on the Stanford one, but the upload is always bad. The further ones seem to be limited by a pesky OC3 line somewhere in the middle which squelches the thruput to 45M bps.
But my firewall/router is getting tuned up nicely...

Just from my desk at work.. though I do have 1.5/1.5 fiber at home (Brambleton in Loudoun County, Virginia - first full community with FTTH for voice, data, tv) - I get basically 1.3/1.5 realistically. I believe they're going to offer 3/3 soon, which would be nice. | |
