| Need help finding an appropriate forum
The A/V forum seems to be the closest thing on BBR, so I thought I would ask here first. This forum seems to be primarily for a/v editing, converting, etc. I am looking for one more devoted to content creation. I'm a musician and CG artist, looking for a place to discuss the programs and techniques with others. The CG end is pretty easy, but I haven't found any good forums for audio creation/editing. Anyone have suggestions? I've looked around a little, and found a few forums on other sites that seem to be on the right topic, but the people are...well, just not what I have come to enjoy from BBR.
Any help is appreciated. -- AMD XP2500+ @2300mhz/ Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev 1.04/ 2x 512Mb Kingston HyperX PC3500/ WD 120Gb on serial/ Gainward GF4 4600/ Enermax 465P-VE/Custom water cooler |

| This in not the answer you are looking for I am afraid, however when you find that forum, better yet get one started, count me in as a regular member.
Are you more interested in audio software programs, ie, Cool Edit, Soundforge, and Sonic Foundry 's Acid Pro or the actual hardware recording?
Haven't been around studio HW for years, Had to give that up years ago when I got married and had several kids. Couldn't ask them to starve with me! But still been playing guitar for years and doing some different things with some of the audio programs out there.
BTW, nice crunching!

The software end is my main concern, in fact you just named off several of the programs I use. -- AMD XP2500+ @2300mhz/ Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev 1.04/ 2x 512Mb Kingston HyperX PC3500/ WD 120Gb on serial/ Gainward GF4 4600/ Enermax 465P-VE/Custom water cooler |
