On the flip side, movies are a luxury, not a necessity. Underprivileged people have other forms of entertainment. Bootlegging is no justification. Plus, if you can download it, i.e. have access to equipment good enough to do that (better than dialup presumeably), you can afford to shell out $20 -- or wait till your next allowance  Or get a bunch of friends and pool your cash. Or get your date/spouse/significant other/whoever to treat you.
