[Messenger Chat] MSN Messenger, adding contacts question

ok i know someone who gave me their "shown" name but i dont have their email and of course MSN is having a fit, is there any way for me to add them manually and totally bypass the wizard?

Did you try a Search at msn.com to see if they are listed there? You need their hotmail.com or msn.com addy in order to add them as a contact. Sometimes you can "guess" their primary address name from their real name, but not always .. besides, you should have their permission, too .. so as to avoid invasion of privacy.

lol i got the handle from them as i chat alot with them on EQ, just think they dont know their user is really the registered email addy. why oh why cant MSN be like AIM and just accept a handle instead of a passport.=x
