That could be a BIOS issue. Does it really matter if it says it's an XP3200+ as long as it's detecting it at the right speed, that's the important part.
On my old Compaq, my XP2400+ is just detected as an AMD Athlon 2.01Ghz. I never worried about it since it's running at it's correct speed. |

with my XP2500 200/11 makes it show up as a 3200 since these are the default settings for the 3200 |
