Can someone please tell me where I could get this board!??
I can't find it anywhere for sale. Please tell me where to get it, I've asked the same question in various places and people seem to just not be here or something. Is everyone gone for Christmas early or what's going on..?

See there's the catch. That's not REVISION 2.0.
That's the original version of the board. I sure wouldn't be posting the question if it was that easy to find the board... but thanks for your effort anyway.

From what i've been able to find, I saw a couple of people with them are in Europe and Australia. Maybe it hasn't been launched in the states yet.

Hmmm.. The 8KNXP Ultra original version didn't perform that great in tests at Hard OCP. I'll check out AnandTech and try to find more about the board I'm looking for. I can see myself changing brands as well... the P4C800 E from ASUS seems to be a really good board.

The Gigabyte is nice, because of the dual BIOS, but the Asus board flies...it doesn't have a dual bios, but it has a non-volatile bios for bios recovery. I have the P4C800-E and it's awesome, except for a couple minor annoyances:
1) the Vcore flucuates a lot
2) the Vdimm only goes up to 2.85
3) the PATA RAID controller is only single channel

I bought a GA-8KNXP last month from zipzoomfly.com and it was a Rev-2. I didn't see any indication on the box, but on the board in the corner next to PCI slot 5 you'll see REV:2.0 in small print. |
