| Cost of DW6000 upgrade??
can anyone tell me what the (apx.) cost of ONLY a dw6000 unit would be?? I am running a fast (2.1 mbs dl) 4000 system and have a good dish, cables network etc. My understanding is that the upgrade can be performed by the user- while we're at it, would I be able to remain an earthlink customer and stay commissioned on my current sat?? -- Earthlink SRS 0n G11/1410, 4.0.3.9 service pack C, Gateway:205.177.62.78, Win2k running ICS,DRTCP, 2 Netgear 10/100 switches,Linksys 54g Access Point, 6 nodes ( 2XP,22k, 2 Mac) My Web Site

| Don't change unless you want to walk in the world of no email, no support, and billing issues. I have not been down for any extended time since I switched to Earthlink. Direcway was always making me run web setup. I have not ran websetup on this computer since I bought it in May! ./End Earthlink rav/.lol | |

| I agree with the previous response. It took me a bit of time to get my system tweaked, installed February-03, but except for the normal stuff, it's been dead reliable and Earthlink has answered or worked with me in every instance to resolve any issues.
Until Earthlink offers the DW6000 upgrade kit on their own, I will stick with my 4000 system.
BTW, if anyone is looking to share their connection over their internal network, OrbitNet has been great. Everything works, FTP, POP, SMTP, TELNET, HTTP(S) and the setup is pretty easy. I tried a lot of packages, thought PPPShar would do the trick and never could get FTP to work.
