A few times I have run into a similar situation, I simply stopped and then re-started the scheduling service, and all ran fine. No need to reboot. I would check your event logs to see if anything is noted before doing this, and then immediately after as well. |

Yes, I am the administrator and it did re-configure the tasks last night and watched to see if they ran, but they didn't.
Oh, BTW: I did check the Schedule log file and it showed nothing, not even an attempt to run the scheduled task. |

I usually start troubleshooting this with the addition of a simple task to be run 2 or so minutes from when I start which simply runs notepad. Does this fail? Are you an administrator? |
