that money is needed to pay for tax cuts for the rich and the iraqi war. Besides, it's obvious how this government feels about broadband - just look at the FCC's antics. |

I suppose it doesn't matter that the top 50% of wage earners pay 96% of all income taxes, or that the top 1% pay over one third of the income taxes and the bottom 50% only pays 4%. It doesn't matter that in percentage terms, the bottom 50% got a bigger tax cut or that some people, because of the earned income tax credit, don't pay any taxes yet they receive a tax refund. And it doesn't matter that economics tells us that supply side works, that under both Reagan's tax cuts and now Bush's tax cuts, the economy grew and in Regan's case, the receipts to the IRS actually rose.
No, you see, the eeeevil rich don't need that money. The eeevil rich won't do anything with their money to help stimulate the economy. The eeeevil rich is best spent by some Washington politician to buy votes.
Who are you to decide? Oh yeah, Leftist commissars know best. This is communism, pure and simple. You people make me sick.
