Does anyone know if Adelphia will be going to DOCSIS 2.0?

there's only one certified Docsis 2.0 CMTS available, and currently, only 2 Modem Models certified. You could talk to Cablelabs about speeding up the certification process....
OR you could also talk to the various modem Manufacturers about speeding up the R&D and Production process.

It's a shame it costs the manufacturers so much money to become certified!

Its a shame manufacturers still put out piss poor modems that cost customers endless trouble calls and providers mucho money in support costs.

This is where customer education comes into play. DON'T purchase a modem unless it's CableLabs certified!

I would think you would have a better chance of getting a good quality modem.
