Montrealers know how to let good times roll, study

Montreal is the most fun city in the country, a new poll shows - but the survey results are no laughing matter in Winnipeg, which ranked dead last.

No doubt!

If you haven't been here yet this year, you owe it to yourself to come visit.

Re: Montrealers know how to let good times roll, study

I’d love to visit and take in all of the sights, sounds and history. Especially Quebec City. My wife spent a week or so seven years ago during New Years in Montréal, back before I knew her. She really enjoyed Montréal alot even in the dead of winter.

Vancouver City council is trying to move in this direction of a “fun City” after years of being called a no fun city.

I think Vancouver’s moniker of a no fun city started after our 94 Stanley Cup Riots. The authorities became paranoid of anything that might attract a crowd.

It certainly surprised me. I'm not sure what these thousand and fifty-eight Canadians feel that "fun" is but after living here for almost all of my 38 years I know that there certainly is more than enough things going on year round in and around the city than I've ever had time to partake in.

There is nothing boring about Winnipeg - unless you are into rock climbing or downhill skiing - we just don't have the hills for that.

Sorry I couldn't get to this thread any earlier. If you must know it's because I was having so much fun!

Crazy pedestrians alright. I've seen people crossing the street on a red light and arguing with the driver of a car when he was trying to cross the intersection on a green light. *scratches head*
