| Re: New customer: Slow speeds I'm having same problems Laith.. its not normal. I've been with pacbell/sbc for a couple years now and seem to be having slow connection as of late, as well as you described.
I used to get like 1100kbps, now the past month or so I've been getting 500-700. It's awful and I hope the SBC tech I'm speaking with on these forums can help me out.
Leaving the modem on or off will not make a difference. Hope this helps | |

| the only package doing the rampup is the up to packages. If your on the 384-1500/128 or higher, you are NOT on the rampup plan and you will not see an automatic speed improvement.
