The ValuRAM is basically considered to be cheaply made. You may get lucky, but oftentimes, its o/c potential is crap. 
HyperX is their "overclocking"-centric RAM product line, I think. Typically (from PC2700-3500 models), I've seen that they would have really tightly rated timings (like 2-2-2-5-1T), but seems like their PC3500+ rated RAM doesn't adhere to this  -- Why I hate VIA |
