| cool! are they just making dual layer discs that you can burn with any DVD recorder or are we gonna have to get a new burner too? or will there be firmware updates for the existing players?

I fit everything fine on 1 disc..
I use dvdxcopy, and the new dvdxcopy Xpress allows you to quickly copy a dvd with a click of a button, then it will burn to 1 disc. What it does is simply cuts the EXTRAS out, I have not encountered a situation where I had to compress the quality (but the program will do this if needed).
-I have the DRU500A, thing runs fantastic.
-I have NO reason to goto a DUAL-burner now!!!!

I’ll take 8.5GB over 4.7GB any day. Yes, I am happy with my current DVD+/-RW drive but I would prefer the 8.5GB. |

they will probally be pretty expensive when they first come out though, slow too...
maybe i should just go with the 8X plextor one for now...
i dunno! what should i do?
