| TSC StatSniffer
I had been asked if there was going to be a StatSniffer for TSC as there is for UD. Well, I guess it was just a matter of time before I put one together...after all, I don't want to leave our TSC family out!
This is the first real working build of the TSC StatSniffer, so don't be alarmed if there are a few quirks. I incorporated some bugfixes from its UD counterpart, so hopefully it will work well for everyone. If there are any bugs, just let me know and I'll work on a fix. I hope everyone finds it useful.

| reply to simplykristi Hey Kristi, glad to have you back! Hope you had a good trip. I posted the UD version a few days ago...you can pick it up here. If you run into problems with it, just let me know. With any luck, I should have a new build of the UD version out shortly. -- Discover a cure! |

This was while trying to do an install. |

| Thanks, Slava...it doesn't actually install, it just runs as an independent program. It looks like you're missing an internet control for the program. Ironically, the control itself isn't functional yet, but I guess it likes to make itself known.
I attached the file if you, or if anyone else should need it. just drop it in your windows/system32 (or your winnt/system32 folder, depending on your OS), and you should be set to go. -- Discover a cure! |

 My Error Message |
Hello,
My message is kind of like Slava's, but with a little bit more information.
Here is my system information. OS: Windows XP Professional, SP1 (w/all current critical updates applied) Memory: 512 MB Processor: 1.5 Ghz AMD Athlon 4 IE Version: 6.0.2800.1203
I also want to point out that on my system, I do have installed Visual Studio 5.0, SP3 (Visual Basic only).
By the way, not sure if this helps any or not, but the UD StatsSniffer v0.3 does work on the same computer.
If you need any more info, or need help, let me know. I've done a lot of VB progamming, and my be able to help out if needed. -- ============================ --Brian Plencner E-Mail: saursesCancer@comcast.net Note: Kill Cancer to Reply via e-mail |

Yeah..that is one of the "Joys" of working with VB! If you have a OCX and you list it in the components area of the project (used or not), when you make the .EXE, it will try to load it because it was included in your project.
I had to deal with that at work one time...took me about a week to figure out why the program would not run!

Neil I think you did a supper job on both, My previous post was from one of school computers so who knows what they have and don't have. This one was when I got home later in the evening.
This will save me some time from having to go to the TSC and UD forums to get some stats since it's all there. I also noticed that it has when we became members of team Discovery. The TSC statsniffer is probably showing when I joined TSC instead of Team Discovery. I'm sure that is understood. But is it possible to it too read, Proud member of Team Discovery TSC team since "/"/" ? This way it might be clearer to when you joined which team.
Am I being too picky here? (If I am, Ill let our English major correct all the grammatical mistakes I made in this post) Gotcha Lil!!! -- Team Discovery Project Hope |

| Slava, you're absolutely right when you make reference to the dates. It looks like I've been spending too much time staring at a monitor. I'll have to fix that one in the next update.
I'd been thinking about computer compatibility with certain error messages, etc. I can make StatSniffer a full-fledged installable program that would install all needed references, but then I think of the TD members who wish to run the app from work/school. In that case, admin privileges may be required to simply install the program, and I had just wanted to have a tiny, portable program for anyone to use anywhere.
Ouch...I'm thinking too hard now. Anyway, thanks for the input, Slava! -- Discover a cure! |
