I'm in San Antonio - my uplink has jumped from 'bout 2000 to more than 3000 (as much as 3800). The change took place 5 or 6 days ago. I don't know what happened at RoarRunner, or why, but I LIKE IT!

Nice. Forum members in the Houston area are reporting a speed upgrade and I can't get Time Warner to fix a severe packet loss problem I've been having in the area south of the Woodlands since friggin' April. RoadRunner is fine so long as you don't develop a problem, but once you do, it's hard to escape from the morass of their service procedures. I'll take reliability over performance any day of the week, but for the better part of this year I've had neither.

Re: Houston Speed change :)

Awesome speeds for Pearland, just not sure I'm ready to switch from SBC.. :\ Any of you convert from them? SBC has been pretty good to me with a stable connection. Just wondering for when I move out.
