The comment that Atlantic Broadband is part of or a subsidiary of Comcast is absolutely false. Atlantic Broadband is headed by two long time cable executives who were employed by Continental Cablevision, which was acquired by USWEST (MediaOne), which was aquired by AT&T Broadband, which was acquired by Comcast. These executives have not been involved with this series of companies for years. The major funding for Atlantic Broadband comes from a Boston based venture capital firm called ABRY Partners.
