DO NOT GO WITH CITLINK OR FRONTIER FOR BROADBAND SERVICES!!!!!
we have had it for 6 months and it is a piece of shit.
it is down 2 times a week, very unreliable to get connected, have to wait 30 min for support (gee wonder y their so busy), and can't host games which is very popular today and which is vital to me because i am a clan leader in Delta Force: Black Hawk Down and they couldn't care less. when a problem arises, they just reset the whole system instead of fixing the problem because it keeps coming back. don't be supprised when u call tech support and it says, "The residence in the area of (whatever the area is) may not be able to connect to the internet right now and our administrators are currently working on the problem. There is no time estimate of when this problem will be fixed." I also have been having even MORE problems connecting to the internet now for some unknown reason that the company hasn't been able to fix.
so my advice is: STAY AWAY FROM CITLINK AND FRONTIER FOR BROADBAND SERVICES!!! It has been a pain in the ass since the day we put it together. Hell, i even know more bout what i am doing than the tech support people do. Not that i expect geniuses to answer the phone but, when ever i have called them they get confused at what i am saying and all they say in response is, "Let me assign u a repair ticket so we can send a repair guy come out to take a look at it.". You are better off using SBC who actually know what they are doing, friendly (not all the tech people at tech support for citlink and frontier are nice and patient), and they acctually have a time estimate of repair when their server is down (which is rare because my bro-in-law has them and he says he has only been not able to connect to the internet once and he has had DSL as long as me).
so once again: STAY AWAY FROM CITLINK FOR BROADBAND SERVICES. IT NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE.
