This is the exact same position Google was in when the Scientologists used the DMCA to make them de-list »www.xenu.net from "scientology" searches. They really have no choice but to pull the listings (and frankly showing the letter for the sites complete with URL's until a court determines the outcome isn't such a bad compromise).
BTW, xenu.net is once again the 2nd result returned with a search for Scientology now that they won that suit.

| why does google have to comply since they arent serving up the files they arent part of it, sherman has to go after the people who made kazaa lite. but whats the big deal with someone stripping the spyware, adware, etc i mean that stuff should be more illegal then downloading movies and music.
