I think we will win 5 this year. Jacksonville, Carolina, Cincinnati, Tennessee and 1 sleeper...Tampa Bay would be a good one but I doubt it.

After seeing the game tonight and barring a catastrophic injury to Carr, I think they could win six games this year. I think Capers and the team would consider that a successful year, considering their long-range plan.

As for Texans quarterback David Carr, who set an NFL record last season by being sacked 76 times, his new-look offensive line protected him well for the quarter-plus he played.
Maybe there is hope for their offensive line this season.

Yepper...Carr had some nice looks downfield with the protection.
Of course the deep men aren't used to being thrown to
So they have to learn to catch it

Stacey Mack looked good as well.

Now it is after the Dallas game. Are the 'boys that good or was it just a terrible night for the Texans? I mean Quincy is starting to think about a February trip to Hawaii...

Funny with the score 3 - 0, the guys on TV last night said, "Well they (the Texans) aren't to worried about not scoring on that drive. This game will be about field position because they just aren't afraid that Quincy Carter can move the ball on them." Five minutes later the score was 3 - 14. Ouch.

I didn't see the game, fortunately I guess, but did the Texans play that badly or, as you questioned, "Are the 'boys that good..."?

Only if you believe that Quincy is Pro Bowl material. He didn't move far up the list in my fantasy football draft. Wait a minute, he still isn't even on my list.

Wow the pulled out a HUGE win today. I thought it was over when they couldn't get the TD from the 8, but they came back and got that winning FG later.

Good job, looks like someone else (Bungels?) will be this years whipping boys. Best not take the Texans too lightly.

Take a look now!
I was surprised to see that through two games:
Quincy had 569 Yards Passing
While my two fantasy QB's sucked:
McNair had 407
McNabb had 334

Damn Parity.

Carr has a LOT of potential. I said that last year after he beat The Boys in the season opener.
As much as I hate the Oilers, I mean Texans, I hope that Carr gets the help he needs that'll make that franchise successful. That'll at least give me something to fall back on when The Boys suck.

Same... Who'd a thought that Gannon would suck so bad this last weekend against the Bungles. I should have played Brady. But if I had Quincy, both Gannon and Brady would have to have broken passing arms before I would start him. Maybe that is why I suck at FF.
