You're telling me....about a day so far I've spent in front and behind that rack just dealing with cables, punching down new drops and organizing them. said by boethius : Now if you can just get your work to get you a cabinet for your servers you can get rid of the baker's rack. I hate baker's racks! If they can afford to drop the coinage on the 2650 and the SAN, they can probably afford a decent cabinet. You could also look at APC's 4-post open rack, which is considerably cheaper than a cabinet (about $400 last I looked) and can capacitate deep rackmount hardware like the 2650. Homaco also makes something, but I don't think it's as deep. In any case, it would suit the environment better than baker's rack. My $0.02 anyway.
