Nikon Coolpix 5700, in addition to our Olympus C2000Z for still cams.
Sony DCR-TRV900 and DCR-VX2000 for video cams.

THe Nikon was purchased last month and we're still getting used to it, but overall finding that it takes beeeeutiful pictures in the fully auto mode.

Not Bad, but doesn't take very good pictures in darker places.

I recently acquired...

Olympus Stylus 300 Digital (3.2 MP) with a 128 Card
»www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_secti···duct=902

It's Tiny, battery life and pic quality are excellent (primary purpose is for new baby coming soon)

Not a bad little number - struggle a bit in low light but for general snapshots it does the job rather well - been really happy with it so far

Took this through my etx-90 telescope last week (thro the eyepiece - from my bedroom window)

Although convenient, I have yet to encounter a digital camera that even compares to the photo quality of a good SLR camera, so I do not, and probably will not own one.
