Well, one thing that's new and right off the bat - in the headline as a matter of fact, is the request to the state AG for an investigation. That was decided last night. That's in addition to the ongoing lawsuit for breach of contract. And Adelphia's suit against other towns for having the nerve not to commit to renewing their franchise (how can I get into a business where I can sue people for refusing to be my customers?) said by mjcrocket :

Strange, I read the article at the link provided, Merrimack is not even mentioned there and no word about the "death" of such ideas. said by mjcrocket :
If a new system is being turned on in a few days, hasn't construction of that new system been going on for the past few months? Doesn't that mean that the people of Merrimack knew that there was a good possibility that "improved" service was just around the corner?
I have had the service since April 2001 when it was first offered, and I've been hearing about upgrades and promises of improvements since April 2001 when it was first offered. They've had twenty five months for Yog's sake, why should I hold my breath this time?

I know you meant "whether" and not "wither," but "wither" is quite appropriate as far as Adelphia in NH is concerned. Wither they should.
