Well, one thing that's new and right off the bat - in the headline as a matter of fact, is the request to the state AG for an investigation. That was decided last night. That's in addition to the ongoing lawsuit for breach of contract. And Adelphia's suit against other towns for having the nerve not to commit to renewing their franchise (how can I get into a business where I can sue people for refusing to be my customers?) said by mjcrocket :

I have had the service since April 2001 when it was first offered, and I've been hearing about upgrades and promises of improvements since April 2001 when it was first offered. They've had twenty five months for Yog's sake, why should I hold my breath this time?

I have not seen anything indicating how the town meeting addressed this issue, if at all! It appears from the newspaper link provided that the idea of the Merrimack building its own system might be dead, because the article includes a statement that it would take years to build a new system! In fact digging around in the links on the newspaper WEB site, was a news article reporting that Adelphia was turning on its new system in the area beginning June 3.

I am just a bit confused as to just what the starter of this discussion had in mind!
