If they only made DSL available for the majority, they would have had to upgrade there networks earlier and then they could have attacked the Cable Companies by offering Television over there newly upgraded network. So now they are trying to catch up to the real world and they are crying in the process. All I can think of is the share holders because of putting there faith in Executives to run the company and the Exec's are not with the program. Now they have to upgrade or face extinction.

Absolutely. If the Telcos are not crapping themselves now, I predict they will be. ---- And should be of course, they have alienated and ignored the consumers for far too long.
Im so happy with vonage. I dont even mind some of the "quirks" as long as I dont have to write a check to the Telcos.
