| Re: havenot I agree. I think it should be the consumer's choice. You can buy one, and use it like a conventional VCR (except it's way cooler) and do without the programming guide and enhanced ease of use.... for free.
OR, if you choose, you can get the guide service, and all it's coolness, for a low subscription fee.
